It’s a new week and we’ll start off AI Is Going To Kill You with a light version on what is a holiday for many. Enjoy the news roundup and check out the surprising results of our poll. You’re a beautiful human being and we love you!

POLL RESULTS

Fascinating data coming out of the first week of our persistent poll asking how our readers’ jobs are, or aren’t being affected by AI.

The story seems to be there’s not much in-between.

  • 50% say YES their job as been impacted

  • 50% say NO their job hasn’t been impacted

What does this mean? Our hunch is there’s two scenarios:

  • You’re in tech or some other industry that is prone to be an early adropter of all disruptive tech

  • No matter what industry you’re in, once AI arrives it has an almost immediate impact on the organizaiton thereby eliminating any incremntal period where a person would answer SOMEWHAT to our poll

We’ll see what this week holds.
